Best place to snorkel, hard to find parking, sea turtle condo complex, playground for dolphins… I’ve already got next year’s Maui shirt designed with our favorite point of interest: honolua bay. I used some of the pattern swatches I found, in the trove Illustrator has to be discovered, to make the map graphic.
Here’s the poster I got to print, all I really did was turn the crank on an old monster of a press, I’m still proud though…
slapped together a few different word marks, tetris them together and hit repeat… now i’ve got a sweet new design for the dudes at the youth group I help lead.
I haven’t done a lot of design for fun in a while. Work can be draining and sap all the creative juices… Excited to see this idea come to life as vividly as I imagined. Now if only I had a garage for screen printing. I can see this going nicely in the upper left chest of a shirt.
The annual fest was great this year, we printed our own posters, got a ton of swag and also these letter press tidbits
